IND vs AUS Day 4 Brisbane Weather: India Need Help From Rain God To Save GABBA Test, Will Prayers Be Answered? (Source: AP)

Rain played spoilsport on Day 3 of the third Test between India and Australia. There were frequent rain breaks and only 33 overs were possible on the day where Australia stretched their innings from 405-7 to 445 all-out before leaving India reeling at 51-4. India are the only team that can lose from this position and the best they can do is to save the Test. There are nearly 200 overs to be bowled in the match and that should be enough for Australia to get the remaining 16 Indian wickets. For India to save the Test, they would need a bit of help from the rain gods.
The good news for Indian cricket fans is that the forecast for Day 4 is not that great. As per AccuWeather, there is a 100 percent chance of rain on Day 4 while the rain forecast predicts a 90 percent chance of rain on the final day. If the forecast comes true, there is a good possibility that Australia won't get enough overs to roll over India and the match would end in a draw.
This will be a great positive for India who will head to Melbourne for the fourth Test at 1-1. It will also keep them alive in the World Test Championship (WTC) final race. If India can win the following two games and end the series with a scoreline of 3-1, they will have a good chance to qualify for the final. However, they will need some help from Sri Lanka who will have to avoid a 2-0 defeat to Australia at home. if Sri Lanka draw one Test, India will qualify for the final.
