Cristiano Ronaldo Sets Clear Conditions For Al Nassr Contract Renewal: Report (Photo- IPL/BCCI)

The IPL 2025 will start on March 21 at the Eden Gardens and the final will also be held in Kolkata on May 25. The Women's Premier League will take place between February 7 and March 2.
All the IPL franchises had already been made aware of the IPL windows for the next three seasons. Due to the Champions Trophy final, BCCI decided to keep at least a two weeks gap for the Indian Premier League.
As per ESPN Cricinfo, Kolkata will host the Qualifier 2 while Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will take place at Sunrisers Hyderabad's home. The report also stated, “The 2025 season will comprise 74 matches, the same as the last three seasons. That number, though, is ten less than the 84 matches listed by the IPL in 2022 when the media rights for the 2023-27 cycle were sold. In the tender document for the new rights cycle, the IPL had listed a varying number of matches per season: ranging from 74 games each in 2023 and 2024, 84 matches each in 2025 and 2026, and a maximum of 94 games for the final year of the deal in 2027.”
During BCCI's Annual General Meeting, it has been decided that IPL 2025 will follow ICC's Code Of Conduct.
An IPL GC member told PTI, "From now on, ICC's sanctioned penalties will be imposed for Level 1, 2 or 3 offences. Till date, IPL had its own Code of Conduct but going forward, Playing Conditions will be followed as per ICC T20I regulations."
For the WPL two more venues have been added as alongside Mumbai and Bangalore matches will also be played in Baroda and Lucknow. Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 final while Royal Challengers Bengaluru got the better of Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 final.
