IPL 2025 Full List Of Retained Players By All Franchises: Rishabh Pant Released By Delhi Capitals, MS Dhoni To Play For CSK As Uncapped Player
The IPL 2025 will be an exciting 18th season of the biggest cricketing carnival in the world. The mega auction returns this year for the first time since 2022. This means that franchises had the hard task of letting go of a number of players from their squads that theyhad so meticulously built for three years. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had allowed the franchises to retain a maximum of 6 players in their squad. Now, the franchises have announced the list of all their players that they have retained. While there have been a number of stars who stay back, a large number of superstars have been released as well.
The biggest news comes in from Chennai Super Kings, as MS Dhoni will continue playing for Chennai Super Kings as uncapped player. On the other hand the likes of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer- who were the captains of Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively have been released.
