Harbhajan Singh, the legendary Indian off-spinner, sparked a social media frenzy on Tuesday with a cryptic tweet that quickly went viral.
Incidentally, the post was made on the same day that Assembly Election results for Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir were declared.
But it was the timing of the tweet, coinciding with the election results, that added fuel to the fire, as many tried to connect it to political developments.
“Nowadays, some ants are teaching bees how to make honey,” Singh wrote on X.
As fans and followers speculated whether the post was aimed at a specific individual, group, or simply a general commentary, the tweet gained widespread attention.
With no official explanation forthcoming, the post remains a mystery and here a couple of reactions -
“Context of this ? Is harbhajan is angry” wrote one.
“Who is the target,” asken another.
Recently Harbhajan was involved in a controversy after he shockingly claimed that MS Dhoni punched a screen outside the dressing room in frustration after the loss against RCB in IPL 2024.
"RCB was celebrating and they deserved to celebrate because of the way they won. I was watching the whole scene from above because I was present there. RCB was celebrating and CSK had lined up to shake hands, RCB were a little late to reach CSK," Harbhajan said in a conversation with Sports Yaari as quoted by NDTV.
"By the time Team RCB finished their celebration, (Dhoni) went inside and he punched a screen outside the dressing room. I was watching from above but it is okay that every player has his own emotions, it happens," he added.
