The PWR DUPR India Masters tournament is on the horizon and the excitement levels are reaching fever pitch. New Delhi will be playing host to the tournament that will take place from 24 to 27 October 2024 at the RK Khanna Tennis Stadium, marking the first fully owned and operated event by PWR following the successful launch of the PWR World Tour in July 2024 in Dubai, UAE. Pickleball World Rankings (PWR), the unified global ranking system for pickleball players, is set to host the PWR DUPR India Masters, a PWR700 event on the PWR World Tour, in the capital city of New Delhi. Pickleball, the fastest-growing racquet sport in the world, is poised to establish a strong foothold in India with the launch of this prestigious event.
Fans will get a chance to view a vibrant mix of international and Indian stars in the tournament. Before the start, there was a fun-filled gathering that served as the official meet-and-greet for players arriving in India to compete in the highly anticipated tournament. Among the standout personalities at the event was Australian pickleball sensation Helena Spiridis, who shared her unique and entertaining take on the sport.
When asked, “If a pickleball paddle could talk, what would it say?”, Spiridis didn't hesitate, responding with a confident smile, “Hit the ball really hard!” This response perfectly captures her aggressive style of play, known for its power and precision.

With a stunning roster of 750 players - all set to compete, the PWR DUPR India Masters is shaping up to be one of the most prestigious pickleball events of the year. Spiridis, alongside a host of other international stars, will be battling it out for the top honours. Participants also include top international players such as Dustin Boyer (United States), Phuc Huynh (United States), Roos Van Reek (Netherlands), Mitch Hargreaves (Australia), Emilia Schmidt (Australia), Pei Chuan Kao (Chinese Taipei), as well as leading Indian players like Armaan Bhatia and Aditya Ruhela. They will compete for a prize pool of USD 50,000.
