South Africa stalwart Kagiso Rabada was on fire on Day 1 of the first Test against Bangladesh at Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Rabada along with Wiaan Mulder broke the spine of Bangladesh batting as the visitors left the 'Tigers' reeling at 60-6 after the first session. Rabada got the wickets of senior batters Mushfiqur Rahim and Litton Das to put Bangladesh on the mat.
The twin strikes helped Rabada etch his name in record books. Rabada joined the elite list of players with 300 Test wickets. Rabada achieved the feat in his 65th match. Overall, ace India spinner R Ashwin is the fastest to reach the landmark of 300 Test wickets. Ashwin achieved the feat in just 54 Tests, but Rabada is the fastest to claim the feat in terms of balls bowled. Rabada reached the landmark in 11,817 balls. Pakistan stalwart Waqar Younis is second on the list with 12,602 deliveries.

If South Africa can beat Bangladesh 2-0, and then win against Pakistan and Sri Lanka at home, they will go through.
