PSL 2025: Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi Retained, Check Full List Here

All the Pakistan Super League franchises have finalised their retention list, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced. A total of 45 players have been retained by the PSL teams including some notable players with the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam and Naseem Shah.
A maximum of eight retentions were permitted for each PSL side. While three teams have utilised the full quota, the remaining three sides have retained seven players each.
Three-time PSL champions Islamabad United retained Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan in the platinum category alongside Colin Munro, who has been a regular part of the PSL, in the silver category.
Lahore Qalandars retained the services of Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Shah Afridi in the highest category while Peshawar Zalmi chose to secure Babar Azam and young sensation Saim Ayub as their platinum retention.
Mohammad Amir and Rilee Rossouw will also be playing for Quetta Gladiators. The PSL 2025 draft is scheduled to take place on January 11 with 510 players from 19 countries will be the centre of attraction

Multan Sultans (7): Mohammad Rizwan and Usama Mir (both Platinum), David Willey (mentor), Iftikhar Ahmed (Brand Ambassador) and Usman Khan (all Diamond), Chris Jordan (Gold), Faisal Akram (Silver)
Peshawar Zalmi (7): Babar Azam, Saim Ayub (both Platinum), Mohammad Haris (Diamond), Arif Yaqoob, Mehran Mumtaz and Sufyan Moqim (Brand Ambassador) (all silver), Ali Raza (Emerging)
Quetta Gladiators (8): Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Amir (mentor) and Rilee Rossouw (all Diamond), Akeal Hosein, Saud Shakeel (Brand Ambassador) and Mohammad Wasim Jnr (all Gold), Khawaja Muhammad Nafay and Usman Tariq (Silver)
Karachi Kings (7): Hasan Ali and James Vince (both Diamond), Muhammad Irfan Khan and Shan Masood (both Gold), Arafat Minhas (Brand Ambassador), Tim Seifert and Zahid Mehmood (all Silver)
