The Breakers are set to welcome former NBA centre Tacko Fall to train with the team in New Zealand as a practice player.
The 7'6" (2.29m) Senegalese player had been signed to join the Breakers on their US tour, but was unable to take to the court due to a quad strain.
Fall expressed his excitement to rejoin the team and continue his on court preparation.
"I was disappointed not to be able to play during the NBA games, but I’m feeling good now and am ready to contribute at training," Fall said.
During their US tour, the Breakers lost all three matches against NBA opposition such as the Utah Jazz, the Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
"I loved spending time with the team last week. The group has a really nice feel and I’m looking forward to working them again and making an impact."
The Kiwi side have made a perfect start to the new ANBL season under new coach Petteri Koponen, winning both of their opening matches.
The Breakers travel to take on the Brisbane Bullets on Thursday night before returning to Auckland to play the Perth Wildcats on Saturday.
