Jasprit Bumrah is enjoying a purple patch in Australia and he has been India's best bowler in the series. Bumrah, who captained India to a win in the first Test match in Perth, kicked off the series with an 8-fer. The India vice-captain scalped 4 wickets in the pink-ball Test in Adelaide and followed up with a nine-fer at the Gabba. He dismissed four Australian batters in their first innings of the ongoing game.
Bumrah, who played his first Test series Down Under in 2018/19, created history with Sam Konstas' wicket in Australia's second innings. Bumrah now tops the list of Indian pacers with the most wickets in a Test series in Australia. He went past Kapil Dev, who dismissed 25 batsmen in the 1991/92 series.
