The ICC announced the schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025 on Wednesday. The schedule was delayed after BCCI refused to send team India to Pakistan and PCB denied hosting the tournament in a hybrid model. After months of negotiations, the boards reached an agreement that all India vs Pakistan matches in ICC events will take place at neutral venues till 2027.
Following the deal, Dubai was finalised as hybrid model venue for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The showpiece event will kick off on February 19, with Pakistan hosting New Zealand in Karachi. The big clash between India and Pakistan is for February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium, while the semifinals and the final are scheduled on March 4, 5 and 9 respectively.
