Virat Kohli's childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma dropped a bombshell and revealed that the Indian great is planning a move to London with his family. As per a report in Dainik Jagran, Sharma said Kohli will leave India soon and shift to London. Speculations around Virat Kohli's move to London have been doing rounds for a while now. Often Kohli is spotted on London streets during breaks between international matches.
“Yes, Virat is planning to move to London. He’ll leave India very soon,” said Rajkumar in a chat with Jagran.
Kohli hasn't been in great form on the Australia tour and constantly struggled against deliveries outside off. Kohli scored a hundred in the first Test in Perth but failed in the following two games. Sharma, however, feels that Kohli will return with a bang and score hundreds in Melbourne and Sydney.
Meanwhile, R Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket following which there are speculations that seniors like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma could also hang their boots in international cricket. Sharma, however, feels that there is a lot of cricket left in Virat Kohli and backed him to play the 2027 ODI World Cup in India.
“Virat is still super fit, and retirement isn’t on the cards anytime soon,” he said. “He’s got so much more to give to the game. I’ve known him since he was a kid, and I can say with confidence that there’s plenty of cricket left in him,” Rajkumar added.
India would want Virat Kohli in full flow in the 4th Test in Melbourne. Kohli is one of the key players in the side and lack of runs from the ace batter has hurt the team India. Kohli, however, would have to find a way to avoid fetching at balls outside off to score runs.
