India are currently taking on Australia in the third Test of the five-match series of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba Cricket Ground in Brisbane. Even though the match has been spoiled due to rain so far, it has been a frustrating morning for India after winning the toss. Jasprit Bumrah was the main bowler that Rohit Sharma and the whole nation had their hopes on for rattling the Aussie batters. However, he too could not do much as he expressed frustration. This expression of frustration went viral.
Bowling in overcast conditions, Rohit Sharma and Team India expected the ball to swing. However, the ball did not offer any movement as the Australian openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney looked quite comfortable. Even Jasprit Bumrah could not generate any movement with the red ball under the cloudy Brisbane sky. Thus, India failed to take any wicket.
In frustration, Jasprit Bumrah said, "Nahi ho raha swing, kahi bhi kar (The ball is not swinging, no matter where I pitch it.)". This was caught on the stump mic and the clip has now gone viral on social media.

Just 13.2 overs have been bowled on day 1 of the first Test. Since then, play has stopped due to the incessant rain in Brisbane. In fact, the entire second session has been called off, as players wait in eager anticipation to see if at all the third session will be played in case the rain stops.

Bumrah On Fire

Jasprit Bumrah has been sensational for India in the ongoing series against Australia. He is the highest-wicket taker in the series with 12 wickets in two games. He picked up 8 wickets in the first match, including a five-wicket haul in the first innings. This was followed by a four-wicket haul in the first innings of the second Test.
In fact, Bumrah was the captain when India won the first Test at Perth in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
