'I Want To Go There Because...': Vinod Kambli Willing to accept Kapil Dev's Offer To Join Rehab Amid Health Issues

Vinod Kambli is ready to go into rehab for the 15th time as the former Indian cricketer is willing to accept Kapil Dev's offer. Kambli has been battling severe health issues for a long time.
Once dubbed as the next big thing in Indian cricket, Kambli's cricket career didn't hit the pinnacle and subsequently he soon faded out. He recently hogged the limelight when he met Sachin Tendulkar at Ramakant Achrekar's memorial and his actions led people to start questioning his health.
Former Indian captain Kapil Dev came forward to help him but set conditions that the former cricketer needs to support himself and should check into rehabilitation. Now it has emerged Kambli is ready to enter rehab for the 15th time.
During an interaction with with Vickey Lalwani on YouTube he said, “I’m ready to go for rehab. I want to go there because I don’t fear anything. My family is with me.”
The player also admitted that Ajay Jadeja and Abey Kuruvilla also extended their hands towards him to bring out from this mess. Jadeja met the player and insisted he should get back on his feet. Kambli is also hoping that he will get some help from BCCI who recently provided financial help to Anshuman Gaekwad.
"Jadeja is a very good friend of mine. He came to meet me and said 'Come on, get up'. A lot of people have called me lately. Everyone saw me.
"Definitely, they [BCCI] will help. Abey Kuruvilla (former India pacer) is with BCCI, he is in touch with me, and he is also in touch with my wife."
Kambli played 17 Tests for India scoring 1084 runs while in the limited over format he amassed 2477 runs at an average of 32.59.
