REVEALED! What Travis Head Told Mohammed Siraj During On-Field Altercation During India Vs Australia 2nd Test

India recently suffered a massive 10-wicket defeat at the hands of Australia in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Adelaide Oval. The star of the show for Australia was Travis Head who scored 140 from 141 balls, thus smashing the quickest century in day-night test history. During this match, Head had a heated altercation with star India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj after he dismissed him. Now former Australia opener Matthew Hayden has claimed that he could lip -ead what Head said during the spat.

Travis Head Said 'Well Bowled': Matthew Hayden

While on commentary during Day 3 of the India vs Australia 2nd Test, Matthew Hayden claimed that he could lip-read Travis Head when he said 'well-bowled' to Mohammed Siraj after he got him out to a yorker. However, Siraj misinterpreted it and hurled some abuses at Head after getting him out.
"He said 'well bowled'. I could lip-read. But I suppose, in the heat of the battle there is going always going to be misinterpretation. But the point is my opinion, all is fair in love and war when it comes to the actual removal of the batter," Hayden said.

What Happened Between Mohammed Siraj And Travis Head?

After getting Travis Head out, Mohammed Siraj had a few heated words for Head. The star left-hander batter too replied with some expletives, as the atmosphere got heated. The crowd at the Adelaide Oval, which is Head's home ground, also booed the star Indian fast bowler, every time he took the ball from here onwards, as the atmosphere got intense.

The two have since buried the hatchet and were seen shaking hands after the match got over. However, the incident had its fair share of repercussions. Siraj was fined 20% of his match fees while some ICC sanctions were imposed on Travis Head. On the other hand, both were deducted 1 demerit point each.
