India continued their domination over Bangladesh and defeated the visiting side by a big 133-run margin to make sure that they returned empty-handed. Led by Rohit Sharma, India won both Test matches to continue their winning streak against Bangladesh. The Suryakumar Yadav-led India whitewashed Bangladesh in the T20I series too.
Bangladesh were never in contention to chase a huge target of 298 in the third game and they made the worst possible start in the chase. Mayank Yadav provided India with a breakthrough on the very first delivery by dismissing Parvez Hossain Emon. The Bangladesh opener departed without troubling the scorers.
Mayank created a record with a wicket on the first delivery and joined Bhuvneshwar Kumar in an elite list. Mayank is now the fourth Indian bowler to take a wicket on the first delivery of a T20I. Bhuvneshwar has done it thrice while Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh have also scalped a wicket on the first delivery of a game.

Mayank played all three games in the series and scalped 4 wickets. The 22-year-old has not been released by Team India and he will be travelling with the Test team during the series against New Zealand.
