Not Virat Kohli! Josh Hazlewood Names Two Players Australia Are More Focussed On
In an interaction with Star Sports, Josh Hazlewood said that they are more focused towards the newer players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill since they haven't bowled to them in Test matches that often. Meanwhile, having bowled to Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma multiple times over the years, the plan for them does not change that much.
"The strategy is probably more focused on the newer players we haven’t played much Test cricket against, like (Yashasvi) Jaiswal and even Shubman Gill, who we’ve only faced a few times. We’ve played against Virat (Kohli), Rohit (Sharma), and others for years, so we know what to do. The plan doesn’t really change that often. It’s about the basics; doing them well and for a long time," Hazlewood said.
