Virender Sehwag joined in the viral 'this or that' trend and made a `big move as he rejecte MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli during a series of questions for an Indian cricket legend. Sehwag made the bold choice on the sidelines of the Delhi Premier League (DPL), whose first season concluded on Sunday (September 8) with East Delhi Riders winning the title after beating South Delhi Superstarz in the final.
In an interaction with TV anchor Shefalli Bagga on Instagram, Sehwag picked MS Dhoni over Ben Stokes. However, he chose Ab de Villiers over the 2011 World Cup-winning captain in an eye-catching move. Sehwag snubbed the South African great for Kohli. Sehwag also picked the Indian cricket legend over Australia's 2023 World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins.
It was Sehwag's pick on the big Rohit Sharma vs Virat Kohli question that went viral on social media. Sehwag picked the Indian captain. In fact, the ex-Indian opening batter continued to pick the 37-year-old Indian cricket superstar and chose him over David Warner and Dale Steyn.

Both Dhoni and de Villiers are retired from international cricket. While Dhoni continues to play the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Chennai Super Kings, the ex-South African captain quit all forms of cricket after the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Talking about Virat and Rohit, both will return to the cricket field after more than a month after being named in the Indian squad for the series opener against Bangladesh, scheduled to begin on September 19 against Bangladesh. The Indian cricket team was last seen in action last month against Sri Lanka and has got a rare 43 day break.
While several top Indian players returned to action in the 2024 Duleep Trophy, Rohit and Virat were rested for the premier domestic competition.
As far as Sehwag is concerned, he has taken up the role of a cricket commentator and pundit post retirement. Both Sehwag and Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir were felicitated at the Arun Jaitley Stadium before the 2024 DPL final.
The former Indian opening pair alongside Kohli are two of the greatest cricketers to emerge from Delhi.
