The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the final list of players that will go under the hammer in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction which is scheduled to take place on November 24 and 25 at Jeddah.
Last week, the Indian cricket governing body had confirmed that 1574 players have regisered for the auction but the list has been shortened and a total of 574 players will only go under the hammer. The 10 IPL franchises will be able to buy a total of 366 Indian players and 208 overseas names.

There are a total of 12 marquee players in the auction (Jos Buttler, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh, Mitchell Starc, Yuzvendra Chahal, Liam Livingstone, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj) who will go under the hammer in two sets.
The 12 players will be the first to go under the hammer, which almost gurantees them to be among the biggest buys in the auction. The BCCI has also confirmed that the auction will start at 1:00 PM Local Time (3:30 PM IST).
A total of 204 players can be purchased at the auction with eight teams also having a Right to Match (RTM) card in their ranks.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) have the highest budget (Rs. 110.5 crore) while Rajasthan Royals (Rs. 41 crore) have the lowest purse.
